A few days ago, I had a little accident wth my laptop that had MS downloaded on it. So it dawned in me that it might be possible to play MS by storing all the download/launcher/game files on a flashdrive (aka thumbdrive).

For simplicities sake, let's assume the following:
    • The flashdrive is large enough to contain the files
    • Any computers supporting USBs meet specifications for playing Maplestory
    So, is this concept plausible?

I used to do that years ago. I don't know if they patched it.

If you have an Android phone, you can use the storage instead of carrying around a flash drive.

I used to do this as well back in high school HOWEVER I believe some things may have changed. I believe there are some registry settings that are installed now that may prevent this from working.
