안녕하세요 Tria! (Hello) 저는 브랜든이에요. (I am Brandon) 오늘 we are going to be learning the korean alphabet 한글. 한글' alphabet consists of 24 characters: There are 10 vowels in the alphabet. ㅏ-a ㅑ-ya ㅓ-eo ㅕ-yeo ㅗ-o ㅛ-yo ㅜ-u ㅠ-yu ㅡ-eu ㅣ-i There are 14 constants in the alphabet. ㄱ-g ㄴ-n ㄷ-d ㄹ-r ㅁ-a ㅂ-b ㅅ-s ㅇ-o ㅈ-j ㅊ-ch ㅋ-k ㅌ-t ㅍ-p ㅎ-h To create a sound most people start with the constantㅇ as that creates the sound 아 as in "Ah" To make sounds you must combine vowels with constants, an example would be 안 which makes "ahn" and 녕 which makes "nyeong" and 하 as "ha" 세 as "seh" and 요 "yo. So practice combining vowels and constants to make sounds and if you are unsure of sounds you may use this chart to see what sounds they make. Try to memorize the alphabet as it does not take long at all. *History*- The korean alphabet 한글 was created by King Sejong, 4th leader of the Chosun dynasty in 1443 Next time we will get into Complex constants aswell as values.
